Ed is Managing Partner of North Passage Associates, LLC, (NPA) a management consulting firm providing a comprehensive set of capabilities including Executive Coaching, Strategic Planning, Change Management, Organizational Assessment, Performance Management, and Crisis Management with the goal of creating high-performing organizations. NPA serves clients in government and those industries which work closely with government such as Health Care, Transportation, and Energy with an emphasis in renewables. He is also an officer of Emergent Wellness, a start-up which is developing a nationwide network of providers of Complementary Alternative Medicine (CAM).

Prior to his current roles, Ed spent 25 years with Accenture eventually becoming Global Managing Partner for Accenture’s Public Sector Strategic Services. His work has taken him to 46 states and more than 20 countries.

Ed has done groundbreaking work in healthcare over the course of his career. He was part of the team that developed and implemented the first phase of healthcare reform in Massachusetts

(Romneycare) which became the model for the ACA. He led the team that developed the second phase which addressed healthcare access, quality and cost containment. He led the team that developed the most recent Massachusetts Statewide Health Assessment and has assisted the Baker Administration with its response to the Opioid epidemic and Covid-19.

Ed is a graduate of Harvard University and has lectured at Harvard’s Kennedy School and at MIT where for several years he judged Entrepreneurial Competitions for MIT graduate students hosted by MIT’s Media Lab.
